About Paul

As well as inspiring the next generation of music makers, Paul Myatt also coaches ocean swimmers to brave the sometimes shark-infested waters off Sydney’s famous Bondi Beach. Paul's true passion is sharing his expertise and inspiring piano teachers worldwide to incorporate movement, singing and off-the-bench activities to keep more kids learning music. 

Paul is the Director of Education for Forte School of Music & Piano Teaching Success and a popular workshop and webinar presenter around the world.

About Samantha 

Samantha Coates is a Sydney-based pianist and teacher with over 35 years’ experience in piano tuition. She is the author and publisher of BlitzBooks, the music education series that has captured the imagination of students around the world and transformed the teaching of rote repertoire, music theory and sight reading.

Samantha completed her Bachelor of Music degree at the Sydney Conservatorium. Although she majored in performance, it is piano pedagogy that has become her lifelong passion. She is dedicated to making piano tuition accessible and relatable, and is always striving to create resources that support a holistic music education.

Her popular and entertaining presentation style has made her a sought-after lecturer on a wide range of pedagogical topics. Samantha’s hobbies are long walks, watching Disney movies, and eating dark chocolate. 😊
