About Paul

From coaching ocean swimmers to brave the sometimes shark-infested waters off Sydney’s famous Bondi Beach to inspiring the next generation of music makers, Paul's true passion is sharing his expertise and inspiring piano teachers around the world to incorporate movement, singing and off-the-bench activities to keep more kids learning music. 

Paul is Director of Education for Forte School of Music & Piano Teaching Success and a popular workshop and webinar presenter around the world.

About Sharon 

Sharon Mark-Teggart is a piano pedagogy coach, researcher and Co-Founder of The Curious Piano Teachers. Sharon says: “Being curious has taken me to places I never thought I’d reach. As a piano teacher, with incredibly humble beginnings, I’d never have moved on without my sense of curiosity and my courage to change.”

In 2007 Sharon achieved a Masters of Music Education with distinction. She has 25 years of piano teaching experience and since 2012 has delivered Associate and Licentiate teaching diploma courses to groups of piano teachers - enabling 100s of piano teachers to successfully gain accredited piano teaching diplomas. (Her latest student to take a teaching diploma was awarded 98%).

Sharon has been described as being a visionary entrepreneur within the world of music education. After founding evoco in 2012 (Northern Ireland’s Music Education Organisation, specialising in piano teacher training) she founded The Curious Piano Teachers in 2015 with Dr Sally Cathcart, a membership site that supports an online community of piano teachers worldwide who love to learn as much as they teach.

Sharon lives close to the beautiful Mourne Mountains in County Down, Northern Ireland, with her husband Philip and 5 year-old son Reuel.
